knowing
each step ever higher
arriving

she stood tall
looking out at the wide expanse
sky bright blue and wispy clouds
sweltering cars in the parking lot
kids splashing and calling

the world shrunk . away

she had to run
forward
she was so so high
to stop at the end . and look down
30 feet
unnerving
