Christmas Books



today is the day

throughout the year i have been collecting
books
one for each grandchild

i hope they love books as much as i do
photo of grammy and grandpa
a personal note in each

when they are all grown up
each will have a collection
a reminder
encouragement and love

carefully selected
to suit each child
i am smiling while i work

now they are ready to wrap
a piece of my heart
some will go far far away

I always love the Christmas books, you pick the perfect ones! My grandma gave out Christmas books, too.

My kids treasure them.

My kids love getting books from grammy! I just hope they last until adulthood - they are so well loved that some get quite tattered.

Hondo and Fabian is still one of my favorited.
