lost lamb, lost coin, lost Laurel

who would not go?
a little lamb
wilderness wandering
searching
i will not stop until i find you

to lose a coin
lighting a candle
sweeping diligently
searching
until it is found

"a certain man had two sons"
filth
despair
hunger
self-loathing
"when he came to himself"

"But when he was yet a great way off,
his father saw him,
and had compassion,
and ran,
and fell on his neck, and kissed him."
Luke 15:20

i too wish to rejoice
call friends and neighbors
"I have found my sheep which was lost."
"for I have found the piece which I had lost."
"for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again,
he was lost and is found."

the bitter truth is this
she is lost
this is the cup that tries to swallow me whole

but, two common denominators
lost and compassion
i will never give up

Oh Cristie! I am crushed and your words break me down. The love on Melissa's face says much. Prayers for you and for Laurel. That she might be found.

I love you.

I'm just kicking myself for not planning something on S

I will keep praying, and I hope to do better in the future.
