this night after sundown

Streams of Mercy, J Kirk Richards

this night after sundown
being in agony
great drops of blood
"not my will, but thine be done."

this night after sundown
they will come
"Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man
 with a kiss?"

this night after sundown
"but this is your hour,
and the power of darkness."
over and over
"mocked him, and smote him."

this night after sundown
turning to watch Peter
"woman, I know him not"
the cock will crow
"and Peter remembered"

and i will weep as he wept bitterly
for i have known weakness
i have been scared
i have disappointed

this night after sundown
i will kneel knowing HE LIVES!
Peter repented going forward
ever an example of faith
never failing

Luke 22:32--But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou are converted, strengthen thy brethren.

I am loving your Easter thoughts Cristie. Beautiful. I too have disappointed, been scared, know weakness. Hasn't journeying with Him this week has been good, and full of meaning? Sure love you.
